Miller Emion

Junior Software Engineer

Building practical software, AI tools, and developer systems.

I am an early-career software engineer focused on practical, useful software. I learn fastest by building real things, testing them honestly, and improving the pieces that make everyday development smoother.

My current interests sit around developer tools, local-first workflows, infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering. I am still growing, but I care about writing clear code, shipping small improvements, and understanding the systems I work with.

Agent Notes

An open-source tool idea for local notes and durable context that coding agents can use while helping with real projects.

Homelab / Infrastructure

Practical infrastructure work around remote access, local services, backups, and the small systems that make a developer setup more reliable.

AI Tooling Experiments

Local AI workflows, automation experiments, and agent-oriented development patterns explored through hands-on builds.

  • Growing as a software engineer
  • Building open-source developer tools
  • Learning better AI-assisted engineering workflows
  • Documenting practical lessons while building
